Web Exploration Activity 1

In this assignment, you will use the Google Web site to perform Internet searches. The purpose of doing Internet searches are to get information or to perform tasks that you want to do on the Web.

Google your name.

To get to Google's web site, type in the following address in the address bar. Or, click on the link at the bottom of this frame.

Type in your full name in the text edit field and then press Google Search button.

Describe what you find in a Word document with at least the following three questions:

1. How many total results?
2. Are you fond the the first page or second page?
3. Is there anybody of interest with your name?
