Adding a Table to a Web Page

Adding a data table or layout table to a webpage is accomplished in the same way
as you would add them into a Word document.

 

  1. On the Tools Menu, open up Table > Insert > Table

  1. The resulting dialog box will be labled "Insert Table." In this box, you will be able to select the number
    of colums and rows for your table. Press "OK" when done with your selections.

  1. For a layout table, you will need to Merge and Split cells to organize your page. The Merge and Split
    cells options are alos located under the Menu selection of Table.

  1. Following is an example of a 3 by 3 table that has been merged and split as a layout table.
