HTML forms allow you to access shopping carts, search
engines, Web-based email, bulletin boards, etc. Forms include controls such as
edit fields, check boxes, radio buttons, combo boxes, and other controls similar
to those used in dialog boxes.
Edit field – An
area on the web page where you can type in text.
Button – an area
that can be clicked on in order to perform an action, such as submitting a
form
Check box – a
field that can be “checked” or “ unchecked” to indicate a yes or no
decision.
Radio buttons –
a group of check boxes tied together in one field. Only one can be chosen
in the group.
Combo box – A
field that contains a list. Only one item can be chosen on the list.
